BOSTON — It’s a week before Election Day, and the leading Massachusetts gubernatorial candidates, Democrat Martha Coakley and Republican Charlie Baker, will meet in their final broadcast debate Tuesday night.
The debate, which begins at 7 p.m., will be broadcast on WBUR and other media outlets. Independent candidates Evan Falchuk, Jeff McCormick and Scott Lively were not invited.
According to WBUR’s most recent poll, Baker holds a slight edge over Coakley in the race.
On Monday night, Baker and Coakley debated in Worcester, with the two frontrunners going on the offensive.
