Over the years, Anthony Bourdain has taken us on extraordinary culinary adventures across the world. But this Sunday, November 9, the chef and TV personality will bring us right back home to the Bay State.
Bourdain’s CNN Original Series “Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown” will explore Massachusetts, “where it all started,” states the show’s preview. According to the Improper Bostonian, Bourdain spent the beginning of his career working in seafood restaurants in Provincetown, Mass. during his years at Vassar College.

Besides New England fare, it looks as though the show will also touch on some rather serious topics including The Recover Project, an organization located in Greenfield, Mass. that fosters recovery from alcohol and drug addiction.
If you watch, “Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown” will air Sunday, November 9 at 9 p.m. on CNN. The television show recently received its third Emmy award and is now in its fourth season.
