On Tuesday, November 11, Veterans Day, BostInno, much like the Greater Boston Region at large, had a work from home day. And with the weekend looming, some of you may have to put in a few overtime hours. I don’t know about you but I’m not the biggest fan of work from homes. I either get too comfortable on my couch, too distracted by premium cable television, or too immersed in watching tourists and the like scuttle about the neighborhood below – Rear Window style. Nearby coffee shops and cafes are usually my go-to’s, but sometimes, I just want a beer or two.
Now, I’m not one to advocate for being completely plugged in a bar during social and leisure hours. I couldn’t agree more with the Twitter interaction seen below. What I’m talking about are the work from homes, those Saturdays and Sundays where you have to catch up on some extra work, resume writing or that essay due 9 a.m. on Monday.

So why not accomplish all on your to-do list with a beer in hand for that consolatory satisfaction? Sometimes, you just have to ditch the caffeine for a cocktail.
To that end, we’ve compiled more than 30 bars, lounges and pubs with wireless access, some of which are our favorite haunts, others we’ve heard from confidants can more than quench your thirst.
Keep in mind, we’re fully aware this list is far from comprehensive. Even our seasoned lifestyle writers have yet to imbibe at every boozy hot spot in Boston. There are plenty of neighborhoods and surrounding communities that are underrepresented by our estimation, and we want this list to grow considerably considerably.
We’d warmly welcome any suggestions and frequented favorites to perpetually add to the points on this map. Think of it as a public service for your Boston brethren.
So do us all, and yourself, a favor and drop your favorite watering hole with wi-fi in the comments section below.
Happy drinking working, friends.
