ROXBURY—Boston wants $30M in federal funds to redevelop the Whittier area: ” The transformation plan for the Lower Roxbury neighborhood and the surrounding Dudley Square area include bringing new housing investments to replace deeply subsidized existing housing and build new units. The neighborhood transformation plan also calls for investments in neighborhood infrastructure and public safety…” [Boston.com]

This time it’s from our pals at Zillow, who used criteria such as the percentage of singles who moved to town in the past year and the number of restaurants, movie theaters and other date spots per capita.
