DiBenedetto leaves Roma board of directors

Thomas DiBenedetto has left the Roma Board of Directors in an official decision made by the AGM of Trigoria. The 64-year-old was also president of Roma for a period of 11 months and laid the foundation for the international development and re-marketing of the club prior to handing over the presidency to his successor, James Pallotta. DiBenedetto led the negotiations for the acquisition for a majority stake of the Giallorossi by NEEP, a company formed by the Bostonian with his American colleagues Pallotta, Michael Ruane and Richard D’Amore.
