The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for the Greater Boston area until 5 a.m. Sunday as another winter storm is expect to blast the area with a coating of 2-4 inches of snow. Accumulation in some areas may exceed 6 inches. A wind advisory is also in effect until this 6 p.m. this evening. A judge denied Thursday a request by the widow of one of James “Whitey” Bulger’s victims for a bigger share of the $822,000 cash and other assets that were seized from the gangster and will be split evenly among families of all 19 people he was accused of killing.
