Another ‘significant’ winter storm possible for Boston mid-week

Another winter storm appears to be headed for Boston this week but whether it brings heavy snow or a mix of rain and snow will depend on if the storm tracks west or east. Slippery Morning Commute Possible on Monday

Forecasters are predicting light snow on Sunday night and early Monday morning that could bring 1 to 2 inches of snow to the Greater Boston area, including the Cape and islands.

Snow ocean effect snow could bring as much as 4 inches for some areas along the coast, according to the National Weather Service.

Though not a big storm, the timing overnight could mean a slippery Monday morning commute.
