Engagement: Littlefield – Chelak
Rob Littlefield and Lara Chelak of the greater Boston area are engaged to be married in September 2014 in the Hudson Valley region of New York.
Rob is the son of Josh and Suzy Littlefield of Wellesley, and Lara is the daughter of Russ and Karen Chelak of Mendham, N.J.
Rob and Lara both graduated from Columbia University where Rob received his master’s degree and Lara her bachelor’s degree.
Rob is a biomedical engineer and Lara is the founder of a digital growth agency.

The Greater Boston industrial real estate market absorbed four million square feet of space in the fourth quarter of 2013, according to a research report released by Transwestern RBJ. Study: 435000 New Housing Units Needed In Boston Area By 2040
BOSTON — A new report is estimating that Greater Boston will need another 435,000 new housing units by 2040 to lure new workers and accommodate an aging population.
The report issued by the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) said the new housing — mostly multifamily and in urban areas — is key to ensuring the economy will keep growing by drawing in talented younger workers.
If current demographic and housing trends continue, according to the report, the region’s population will grow by less than 7 percent over the next three decades and be decidedly older.
