Arrest made in Dunkin’ Donuts robbery spree

A Dedham man has been arrested in connection with the investigation of more than 20 armed robberies at Dunkin’ Donuts shops in the greater Boston area, Canton police said this afternoon. Isaiah Murphy was taken into custody at 2:40 p.m. Murphy is to be arraigned Wednesday in Stoughton District Court on armed robbery charges, said Canton Police Chief Kenneth Berkowitz.   Hospice of the North Shore and Greater Boston has come a long way from the all-volunteer company that began in a two-family house in downtown Beverly in 1978. Today it has 385 employees, offers a range of services, not just hospice, helping 550 people each day while serving about 90 cities and towns from the New Hampshire border to Norfolk County communities just south of Boston. Hospice of the North Shore and Greater Boston has come a long way from the all-volunteer company that began in a two-family house in downtown Beverly in 1978. Today it has 385 employees, offers a range of services, not just hospice, helping 550 people each day while serving about 90 cities and towns from the New Hampshire border to Norfolk County communities just south of Boston. The organization plans to open a 20-bed inpatient hospice facility on a 12-acre parcel of land located on the Waltham and Lincoln line. Hospice of the North Shore & Greater Boston Changing Names

Hospice of the North Shore tacked on Greater Boston to its name a couple years ago to signify its larger service area with the acquisition of Partners Hospice, but now the Danvers-based organization is changing its name altogether.As of Jan. 1, the nonprofit will be known instead as Care Dimensions.
