UC staff member assaulted while walking to car off-campus

CLIFTON HEIGHTS, OH (FOX19) - Police say a University of Cincinnati staff member was assaulted Wednesday afternoon while walking to his car parked off-campus. It happened in the 2400 block of Ohio Avenue around 3:30 p.m. FOX19's Cory Stark spoke with the 32-year-old victim, JP Leong, who says he's worked at UC for five years. Leong claims while walking to his car he was suddenly surrounded by a group of approximately 6-9 teenagers. Race Matters In Boston Politics

Race has been a loaded topic in Boston ever since the busing battles of the 1970s. Now, as Boston prepares to elect the first new mayor in two decades, race is playing a role again.

Three Boston Area Banks Among Worst for Complaints

Three banks with branches in the Greater Boston area were ranked among the 10 worst in the nation for complaints, reported The Boston Globe.US Public Interest Research Group reported that Sovereign Bank, RBS Citizens Bank and TD Bank were all ranked among the 10 worst when adjusted for size, reported The Globe.The results came from US PIRG’s US Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Driver fired over throwing students off bus

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) - An East Texas bus driver has been fired after telling students to get off her bus. Last Friday, witnesses saw around twenty Forest Park middle school students get off the bus and start walking on Garfield Drive, crossing High Street, a busy four lane road. According to the LISD bus driver's account of the situation, students were being verbally abusive and swearing at her, when she had enough. "You have unruly kids on school buses; it happens. Tavern in the Square Bar to Open Four New Locations

Tavern in the Square, a favorite neighborhood sports bar for many, will soon expand to four new locations by the end of 2014, making it the fastest growing restaurant in the Greater Boston Area.
