Muslims for Life blood drive planned Friday in Canton

The Canton Police Department, the Greater Boston chapter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, USA and the Red Cross will co-host a blood drive from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6,  at the Canton Public Library, 786 Washington St.

The event will mark the 12th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. In last two years, the organization’s 76 chapters have collected 23,500 pints of blood during their Muslims for Life campaign.
