Firms close deal on Evergreen Solar plant

Hackman Capital of Los Angeles and Bay State real estate investor Calare Properties officially announced they have acquired the former 448,000-square-foot Evergreen Solar plant on Barnum Road in Devens. The plant, located in the Barnum Business Park, which is four miles west of Route 495 and two miles north of Route 2, is on 25 acres of land and was constructed by Evergreen Solar in 2010.
