Boston Maccabi Rugby, a community service-based rugby team serving the Greater Boston area, traveled to Hannaford in Waltham with Sam Slater of the Slater Foundation and Boston City Councilor Tito Jackson to pick up contents for 1,000 “Thanksgivukkah” baskets complete with mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce and Hanukkah gelt (chocolate candy) that they planned to donate to families in Boston this year.
