Greater Boston Video: deCordova Museum Presents Tony Feher’s Life

The big summer exhibition at the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum is a retrospective of Tony Feher, a man its curator calls an artists' artist.  Feher creates floor pieces using coins, broom handles and lots of jars, among many other materials most of us might consider ordinary.  Assistant curator Lexi Lee Sullivan says Feher asks viewers "to focus in on these moments of real beauty in our everyday surroundings, to ask us to think about our world in a very different way." The MBTA Is Fixing Up Its Busiest Bus Routes (And Adding Shelters)

Selectman cited for leadership role

Natick Selectman Joshua Ostroff received a special recognition at last month’s annual meeting of the Metropolitan Area Planning Council . Ostroff was given the Theodore Mann Regional Leadership Award, named for Newton’s longest-serving mayor, which recognizes a municipal leader from Greater Boston whose commitment to regional collaboration best exemplifies Mann’s legacy.
