Having finished my tour as Consul, I have now spent a semester at MIT's Sloan School of Management studying this and other innovation ecosystems. Law firm donates $25K to help needy children attend camp at Newton nonprofit

In honor of a recently deceased partner, a Boston-based law firm announced it is gifting money to help needy children attend summer camps at a Newton non-profit.  Riemer and Braunstein announced recently that it was donating  $25,000 to fund a program to help disabled children - through the Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters Association of Greater Boston - attend summer camps at the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston. Running Specialty Shop Opens in Andover – Andover, MA Patch

The Greater Boston Running Company, 45 Main Street, is all about injury prevention, according to Manager Tom Poland. The new specialty store that carries shoes, apparel and gear is located at the former site of J.L. Coombs and Dahers. The Andover store, owned by the Running Specialist Group, is one of four Greater Boston locations. Runner Gene Mitchell founded the company with the opening of the Princeton Running Company in 1998. Former state treasurer Tim Cahill's attorneys sat down with Greater Boston host Emily Rooney on Wednesday night to discuss the verdict in Cahill's case, which was declared a mistrial with a deadlocked jury. "The case is over as far as we’re concerned. Whether it’s cast as not guilty, whether it’s cast as unable to reach a verdict. The answer is the same,” said Jeffrey Denner, one of Cahill’s lawyers. Boston College Junior Earns Big Sister of the Year Honors
