Whole Foods Market® Acquires Leases to Six Johnnie’s Foodmaster Locations Company to expand presence in Greater Boston to 26 stores  Whole Foods Market, Inc. (NASDAQ:  WFM) today announced an agreement to purchase six leases from Johnnie’s Foodmaster, a family-owned grocery chain based in Chelsea, Massachusetts. The transaction is expected to close November 30, 2012.  Johnnie’s Foodmaster will close all six locations prior to the closing date. How Many Millionaires Live in Arlington?

Like the Barenaked Ladies said in their hit song, "If I Had Million Dollars... ...I'd be one of 42 taxpayers in Arlington who made at least a million dollars in 2010." OK, so those weren't the actual lyrics of the song. But they are the actual numbers in a searchable database in the Boston Business Journal. Ambitious ‘Blood Rose Rising’ canceled

There’s nothing like a serial to keep people coming back. The idea has worked in literature, on movie screens, and on TV. It hasn’t been seen much onstage, but last February, Greater Boston got its own theatrical serial, “Blood Rose Rising,” the story of a local history professor, his lawyer girlfriend, and his other girlfriend, who just happens to be a ghost from the Victorian era. The Nov. 2 event will include a performance by Grammy Award-winner Natalie Cole and the posthumous induction of Peace Corps founder Sargent Shriver into the ABCD Hall of Fame. Keystone Club News

One of our ongoing teen programs, the Keystone Club, is a leadership development program that meets every other week to plan community service projects, fundraisers and social activities. During the past several weeks this group has volunteered at the Rodman Ride for Kids, served at a Food Pantry with The Greater Boston Food Bank, attended our recent Financial Literacy Night and this past Saturday, took part in a Leadership Training with the Dale Carnegie program.
