Michael E. McKenney from Humboldt Storage Moving Company, Boston, was awarded Van Operator of the Year for United Van Lines’ regional fleet. This award recognizes McKenney’s outstanding performance in the areas of customer service and safety. Steve Dawkins, Senior Executive Vice President of United Van Lines presented the award to McKenney at the company’s recent convention in Orlando, Fla. McKenney’s wife Karen, eight of their nine children and his co-driver Jay Wilson were also present at the awards presentation.
During the 12-month qualifying period, McKenney drove more than 38-thousand miles and maintained a perfect safety and claims rating. His customer service rating was an impressive 100 out of a possible 100. McKenney has been driving for Humboldt Storage Moving for 21 years.
