Hyatt Regency Cambridge Hotel Partners with Toys for Tots Foundation Boston area hotel offers a partnership to help the Marines of Greater Boston by inviting guests, associates and community members to drop off new unwrapped toys in exchange for a 20% off discount at the hotel’s Zephyr on the Charles restaurant.
WHAT: Hyatt Regency Cambridge has partnered with the Toys for Tots Foundation to collect toys for needy children this year. We want to make a difference and help the Marines of the Greater Boston chapter of Toys for Tots bring smiles to local children. We invite hotel guests, associates and members of the local community to drop off a new, unwrapped toy ($10 value or more) at Hyatt Regency Cambridge from December 1st through December 15th, 2011. Anyone who donates a toy at Hyatt Regency Cambridge will receive a 20% off food dining discount that can be used at Zephyr on the Charles restaurant.
WHEN: December 1st through 15th, 2011. Drop off location for Toys for Tots. Drop off service available 24/7 inside hotel lobby. December 15th, 2011. Marine from the Greater Boston chapter of Toys for Tots Foundation picks up Toys at 12Noon.

WHY: The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is a not-for-profit organization authorized by the U.S. Marine Corps and the Department of Defense to provide fundraising and other necessary support for the annual Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. Now in its 64th year, Toys for Tots provides joy and a message of hope to less fortunate children through the gift of a new toy or book during the Christmas holiday season. Our gifts offer these children hope, recognition and a positive memory they will cherish for a lifetime. Many of the gifts we provide, such as books, games and sports equipment, make a significant contribution to the educational, social and recreational development of these children. In 2010, Marines distributed gifts to 7.2 million children in over 700 communities nationwide. The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation relies on individual donations from the American public as well as support from corporate sponsors.
