Polymnia Choral Society is looking for talented high school singers, dancers, composers, instrumentalists and actors from the Greater Boston area. Auditions will be held Saturday, March 16, 4-6:30 p.m., at Temple Beth Shalom, 21 East Foster St., Melrose. Winners will receive $250 and perform with Polymnia at its Pops concert Saturday, June 1, at Memorial Hall in Melrose.
Any high school student in the Greater Boston area is eligible to compete. All musical applicants will have seven minutes to display their talents within the Broadway, pop, classical or jazz genres. An accompanist will be provided. Actors should prepare a skit or monologue appropriate for a family venue. The competition is open to individuals or groups. There is a $15 audition fee.
