Mass will be held at the school’s St. Ignatius parish at 9:30 a.m., and will be followed by a ceremony and roll call at the Veterans Memorial Wall on Burns Lawn at 11 a.m. Captain Robert Keane, an alumnus and retired member of the United States Navy, will be on hand to deliver a speech.

The school’s Office of Off Campus Student Services is sponsoring Emerson Action Day 2013, in which members of the Emerson community come together to lend a helping hand at a variety of sites, including Boston Rescue Mission, Goodwill Massachusetts, the St. Francis House and Women’s Lunch Place. Students will be meeting in the Multipurpose Room of the Max Mutchnick Campus Center beginning at 9 a.m.

MIT

MIT will be renaming its Lobby 10, located below the Institute’s Great Dome, the “Memorial Lobby” in commemoration of MIT alumni who have given their lives and served their country. The ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. on Monday, November 18, with a presentation of the flags by MIT Police-ROTC Joint Guard.
