Cathay Pacific Airways, named “World’s Best Airline” in the 2014 annual Skytrax World Airline Awards™, is commencing a photo campaign today, inviting participants to share quintessential Bostonian moments on social media platforms for a chance to win a roundtrip ticket to Hong Kong from Boston Logan International Airport, a new direct route scheduled to launch on May 3, 2015 at 1:45am.

“A picture is worth a thousand words,” hence from now up to April 24, 2015, Cathay Pacific encourages travellers, students and local Bostonians to photograph and share memorable experiences, places or objects unique to Boston with friends and family. To partake in the campaign for a chance to win, upload the photos to Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #CXBOStoHKG, and add a short caption explaining why they were unforgettable or meaningful.

One winner will be selected to receive the opportunity to travel to Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific. In addition, a collection of the best submissions will be selected to create a set of postcards prepared for passengers on select flights from both destinations. Stories of Boston will be told via the postcards prior to visitors’ arrival, while memories will also be brought directly to Hong Kong.

Cathay Pacific will be the first airline to link New England and Hong Kong directly, offering the non-stop service from Boston Logan International Airport four times a week, cutting down the travel time from Boston to Hong Kong by over four hours.

The Boston service will be operated by Boeing 777-300ER aircraft featuring Cathay Pacific’s renowned cabin products, including the newly-refreshed First Class; awarding-winning Business Class; the newest cabin class, Premium Economy; and the new long-haul Economy Class.

The flight schedule for Cathay Pacific’s Boston (BOS) service, effective May 3, 2015, will be as follows (all times local and subject to government and regulatory approval):
