Forecast: Boston getting 2-4 inches of snow from Tuesday afternoon storm

It just never seems to end.
The Greater Boston area could receive 2-4 inches of snow between noon and 8 p.m., with the bulk arriving between noon and 6 p.m. The snow will come down in heavy quick bursts that will likely snarl traffic during peak travel times.
Conditions are expected to warm briefly near the end of the week though a cold snap is expected to emerge again early next week.
Extended National Weather Service ForecastToday: Snow, mainly after noon. High near 35. East wind 11 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
