BOSTON — A Moultrie native stationed at Woods Hole, Mass., with the U.S. Coast Guard was recently honored by the Greater Boston Federal Executive Board. Lt. Beacon Hill Resident Raises Funds For Greater Boston Food Bank

A Beacon Hill resident was recently part of the "Step Into Summer" fundraiser that helped raise both money and awareness for the Greater Boston Food Bank. Sarah Biller, who lives on Beacon Hill and is the president of Capital Market Exchange, is one of three chairs of GBFB's "Kitchen Cabinet," which hosted the Monday event at the Harpoon Brewery Beer Hall. Spokeswoman Dianna Curry said Monday's event was attended by over 100 people and was able to raise enough money "to provide more than 23,000 nutritious meals for those in need throughout eastern Massachusetts."
