The firefight that erupted between police and the Boston Marathon bombing suspects was not limited to the streets of Greater Boston in Friday's early hours — as streams of wayward bullets spilled into homes. Police sirens awoke many Watertown, Mass. residents to find bullets lodged in walls, furniture ruined and holes in windows. No travel-writing today.   Today I  honor and celebrate Greater Boston, its heroes, its heart, its strength.
