Community Notes: Get fit, give back at the Waltham YMCA

The Waltham YMCA, a branch of the YMCA of Greater Boston, is encouraging the community to get fit and give back this fall by donating five non-perishable food items when they join the Y from Oct. 13 through Nov. 18. Individuals and families that donate food items will have their $25-50 YMCA joiner fee waived, receive 3 free sessions of YMCA health wellness coaching (valued at $150), and be entered to win a personal training package. BREAKING: 4.5 Maine Earthquake Felt in RI

Small tremors were felt in Rhode Island after a 4.5 magnitude earthquake near Lake Arrowhead, Maine, around 7:12 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16.

Boston Area Students Gather for Productive Meeting

BOSTON, Mass. (A.W.)—On Sun., Sept. 30, Boston University’s Armenian Students’ Association (BU ASA) hosted a reception for Armenian college students in the Greater Boston area.
