Travel fundraising for Mass. Gov. Patrick tops $1M

Deval Patrick set up to pay for his travels on behalf of President Barack Obama's re-election campaign. According to campaign finance reports filed with the Federal Election Commission, Patrick's Together PAC raised $455,500 from April 1 through June. Billerica trail offers a footpath around Boston

Everyone in Massachusetts is aware of Routes 128 and 495, circumferential highways that loop west of Boston. Few people are likely aware of a third: The Bay Circuit Trail and Greenway, an in-progress trail running from Plum Island on the New Hampshire border, south and west through Tewksbury, Chelmsford, Westford, Acton, Concord and Lincoln. Spurs from the trail connect it to Bedford and Billerica, as well. The trail finally swings west in Southborough and ends up on the Duxbury/Kingston shore. Mother falls face first into subway pit holding toddler. Screen shot via You Tube. A Boston, Mass. mother was caught on surveillance video walking off a subway platform holding her 4-year-old son. The pair fell so violently, the mother fell on top of the boy who hit his head on the train tracks.
