In a rare public appearance, the Johnson family — billionaire philanthropists and Fidelity mutual fund scions — were feted by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce last night, inducted into the Academy of Distinguished Bostonians for their century of contributions to the community. Dev. Academy: Red Bulls’ U-16s run win streak to 10 straight with weekend wins

Hingham Photographer Shares Her Love for Dogs

The Hingham Library’s Clemens Gallery will see some of its cutest photos next month with a dog exhibit. The gallery will feature a variety of images of puppies, collies and shepherds, taken by Hingham photographer Jann Tenenbaum. Tenenbaum operates a commercial studio on Beach Road in Hingham, specializing in pet photography since 2008. Unsafe Building In Chinatown Prompts Tenants’ Rights Campaign

BOSTON — Boston Mayor Thomas Menino has launched a public information campaign aimed largely at immigrants who do not know their rights as tenants. It will distribute posters and pamphlets — available in seven languages — that encourage renters to report unsafe or unhealthy living conditions without fear of retaliation or deportation.
