Roxbury Latin Student Participates in Habitat for Humanity Build

On December 28, Milton resident Duncan Finigan, along with seven Roxbury Latin classmates and two faculty members, took part in a Habitat for Humanity build in Roslindale. They performed a variety of tasks on one of Greater Boston Habitat’s newer projects: a foreclosed home undergoing a complete renovation that will result in a 3-bedroom unit and a 4-bedroom unit. The building is currently in the early stages of renovation, and the work of the RL group focused on improving its structural stability and safety. Industry experts say 2012 is shaping up to be Boston’s strongest year for tourism and convention business since 2007 – and has the potential to set all-time records.
