Dude may look like a lady, but at least Steven Tyler is still deemed fashionable by someone. Independent online retailer US Trendy released their list of the Top 50 Most Fashionable Bostonians today, and the 65-year-old Aerosmith singer clocks in at a very respectable Number 26. The top spot goes to TV personality Maria Menounos (which kinda makes up for US Trendy misspelling her name in the list below), with model Gisele Bundchen (also misspelled) taking the silver, and Christina Pierce of the Christina Pierce Fashion Agency playing the role of Finland and going home with the bronze. A Bostonian On the Ice in Davos

Follow Paul on Twitter: @paulstewart22 I have been having a great time in Davos, Switzerland, taking part in the hockey events overlapping with the World Economic Forum, including the charity outdoor Old Timers' Game. I have had the opportunity to room with Czech hockey legend Milan Novy, who was one of the greats of European and international hockey before the fall of communism in the former Czechoslovakia. Nowadays, Old Timers' games are called Legends' Games. Cue the George Carlin routines on the softening of language to mask the fact that we're a bunch of old guys skating. Fair enough. State gaming commission hears pitches on Revere, Everett casino proposals

The two companies competing for the Greater Boston resort casino license made their best pitches this afternoon to the five commissioners charged with awarding the lucrative license, in two very different styles. In a well-coordinated presentation, Mohegan Sun stressed the company’s long New England roots and familiarity with the local gambling market, to support its proposal for a casino in Revere on land leased from Suffolk Downs. By contrast, Steve Wynn, chairman of Wynn Resorts, speaking off the cuff, advocated for a casino in Everett by standing on his personal record as a designer Continue reading >>>
