ROSSMOOR, Calif. (KABC) -- A female jogger was hospitalized after being stabbed multiple times in a quiet Orange County neighborhood. The attack happened at about 9 p.m. Tuesday on the 3200 block of Bostonian Drive in Rossmoor. Police say the victim was attacked from behind, and suffered stab wounds to her face, arm and her hand. Orange County sheriff's officials say the victim was able to fight the suspect off and run away for a short while, but the man caught up to her and continued his attack. ROSSMOOR – A 28-year-old woman was cut and stabbed Tuesday night in what police believe was a random attack as she jogged through this quiet community seldom touched by violent crime. Somerville football team will open GBL schedule against Malden

  The Somerville football team will not play another non-league game this season, and the Highlanders couldn't be happier about it. Somerville dropped to 0-6 Oct. 19 with a 34-6 loss to Andover at Dilboy Stadium. The remainder of Somerville's schedule will include games against Greater Boston League foes, starting Oct. 27 afternoon with a game at Malden (1-6). Rossmoor Jogger Attacked, Police Search for Suspect

Orange County Sheriff’s Deputies are searching for a man who attacked a female jogger on Bostonian Drive in Rossmoor Tuesday night. The attack was reported at 9:11 p.m. on the 3200 block of Bostonian Drive, according to Orange County Sheriff's Department Lt. Lloyd Downing. The suspect was last seen on a BMX bike. Police have not yet released a detailed description of the suspect. The search and the investigation are ongoing. Norton selectmen no fans of United Nations

The United Nations was founded in 1945 and the anniversary of the day on which the UN charter came into force is observed each year on Oct. 24. In Norton however, the town will not be celebrating United Nations Day this month.
