Free ice cream truck from RCN to roll through MetroWest, Boston area

By Jaclyn Reiss, Town Correspondent The following is based on a prepared statement from RCN Boston: RCN Boston will drive its signature summer ice cream truck back on the road for the sixth year to deliver free ice cream treats to neighborhoods in the greater Boston and MetroWest areas. The truck is expected to stop in 23 communities, including Framingham and Natick. Digital signage projection tech cheers on Olympic athletes (Video)

Just as the world finished watching the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games on July 27, Procter Gamble and Gillette used digital signage projection technologies to promote U.S. Olympians and Gillette's special Olympics edition of its Fusion ProGlide razor. Gillette projected video images of Team U.S.A. athletes Tyson Gay and Ryan Lochte onto buildings around Boston and sprays of water over Boston Harbor. Marlborough Executive Park Lands 4 New Tenants

Four tenants have signed on at the Marlborough Executive Park. According to Greater Boston Commercial Properties, whose associate, Benjamin Gatti, brokered the deals, the leases total 8,288 square feet of space in the 52,500-square-foot building at 65 Boston Post Rd. Westborough information technology consulting firm Advans IT Services Inc. leased 4,216 square feet on the third floor, while the Visiting Nurse Association of New England leased 1,713 square feet of space. P&G shows Olympic spirit with hologram lightshow of USA hopefuls

As part of Gillette’s Global ‘Get Started’ campaign, the company had been gearing Bostonian’s up for the big event through a series of smaller projections throughout the city on well-known buildings.

The event itself used multiple projectors to display the video images of swimmer Ryan Lochte and sprinter Tyson Gay in action on massive screens of particulate water vapor, sprayed into the air above the surface of the Boston Harbor.

Bristol Community College teams up with The Greater Boston Food Bank to bring the Mobile Food Market to the BCC Fall River Campus, 777 Elsbree St. Campus on Monday, August 6, from 10 – 11 a.m. in Parking Lot #5 (in front of the Hudnall Administration Building.)
