Greater Boston Under A Heat Advisory

Much of eastern Massachusetts is under a National Weather Service heat advisory from 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, with temperatures expected in the mid-90s. “There’s a very warm air mass in place and we’re expecting temps for many parts of the area to reach into the mid- and upper-90s,” Matthew Doody, a NWS meteorologist in Taunton, told our Newscast unit early Tuesday.
