VOTE: Video Battle of the Bands

Patch Video Battle of the Bands 2012 is here! More than 20 bands from across Eastern Massachusetts submitted videos of original songs over the past two weeks to multiple area Patch sites in hopes of taking home the top prize. First off is a regional round in which we pit bands and musicians from Greater Boston against one another. They will square off to win bragging rights in the area, a cool prize and a chance to go to the final round and win a rockstar prize pack! Report: Industrial Property Shows Signs Of Life In Q1

Global Youth Service Day

The Boys Girls Club of Brockton became a beehive of service activities on Saturday in its second annual Global Youth Service Day. The event was sponsored by Crescent Credit Union. Most activities were held at the main club and a clean-up crew worked at the Edgar Playground. Activities included collecting items for The Greater Boston Food Bank and Soldiers, activity-book design for kids and clean-ups around the club, the Arnone School and the common area. BWW Review: Legally Blonde is Frothy (Pre-Recession) Fun

Dublin’s Board Gáis Energy Theatre is awash in pink this month with the arrival of Legally Blonde – The Musical. Based on the 2001 Reese Witherspoon film of the same name, Legally Blonde played 595 performances on Broadway. The West End version closed earlier this month after a successful run, which included the 2011 Olivier Award for Best Musical.
