Patch Video Battle of the Bands 2012 is here! More than 20 bands from across Eastern Massachusetts submitted videos of original songs over the past two weeks to multiple area Patch sites in hopes of taking home the top prize. The Boys Girls Club of Brockton became a beehive of service activities on Saturday in its second annual Global Youth Service Day. The event was sponsored by Crescent Credit Union. Most activities were held at the main club and a clean-up crew worked at the Edgar Playground. Activities included collecting items for The Greater Boston Food Bank and Soldiers, activity-book design for kids and clean-ups around the club, the Arnone School and the common area.
