Mark Wahlberg Is Producing A Movie About The Boston Marathon Bombing

In the aftermath of the 2013 Boston marathon bombing, native Bostonian Mark Wahlberg is partnering with CBS Films to produce and possibly star in a film about the tragedy.  The film, titled Patriot Days, is based on the account of Boston Police commissioner Ed Davis, who worked with the FBI and other local and federal law enforcement to find and apprehend the bombers, one of whom (Dzhokhar Tsarnaev) is still undergoing trial. Native Bostonian Mark Wahlberg is working on a movie about the Boston Marathon bombing and the days-long hunt to find the bombers. EW reports that Wahlberg will be producing Patriots’ Day, which will focus on the manhunt for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
